Southbound -John's First Watch - underway Newport to Tortola

Captain's Log:

Good Morning Cici,

Just a quick hello. Its 0445, I'm on watch. we are at 39 05.8 N 070 12.2 W Heading just about due south at 180 at the moment. Seas are pretty mild, about 3-5 feet and its a dark morning. The wind is at our backs from about 310.

Pretty uneventful so far. Went through a Satellite hole at about 2am which freaked us a little, but other than that things are smooth.

Motor sailing at about 7 knots. should be in the stream at about 1pm

Hope all is well. Should be I haven't been gone too long.
