Passage from Newport RI to Tortola BVI - Atlantic 48 - 2007
Southbound - Tom's first log while underway to Tortola
Tom, Scott and John left from a very icy dock this morning at 8:35a. There was ice on the deck and cockpit to boot. After filling all 4 tanks w/fuel, they were underway. This position report was entered at 3:19pm today. Here's the first email from Zen:
Hi,
Everything is going very well. We have been motoring the entire day and expect to keep this mode for several more hours. The rain stopped but we have the heater blasting becasue it is still very cold. Probably going to sleep iin the salon tonight.
I need some help with tech support from Nobeltec, the company that makes the PC navigation software. I connot determine how to get the software to produce the correct date and time. It is set currently set 17 hours ahead of our local time. Not sure how this happend. Can you contact them and determine a fix? We are running VNS 9.122.
Current position: 40.46'N:70.59'W
Note: I rec'd another email at 7:30pm stating they got the software issue resolved.
Guess I am able to finish my dinner and curl up w/Harley.
Ciao!
